The weather is cooling back down after the little Indian Summer we had this past weekend here in New York.  You can feel the air slowly getting crisp, which means beanie and sweater weather is upon us.  The two items that were on my fall wish list were a beanie and a long grey cardigan.  I lucked out finding both early on in the season.  I’m all about wardrobe essentials that cater to your personal style and that’s exactly what I found with these two items.

Whenever I’m feeling uninspired I have a tendency to gravitate towards this color combination.  The outfit’s color palette needed a little something extra though so I opted for a bold red lip and crossbody.  After adding that color this outfit instantly felt more glamorous.  Sometimes that’s all you need to do to brighten up any outfit.

What color always makes your neutral outfit’s feel more glamorous?
