Skyline

Since moving back to Brooklyn, I lucked out that the apartment I found has access to the roof. It is such a spectacular view of the city from up there. This entire summer I have been utilizing my roof access whether it’s just taking pictures, drinking […]

Transition

Transition

The weather is slowly shifting to fall, and my excitement level is skyrocketing. With September, almost upon us, I am mentally preparing my wardrobe for cooler temps. I look forward to autumn every year when the first signs of fall fashion are placed in stores. From now until the temps completely cool down my outfits will slowly be transitioning.

Rain

The arrival of spring means rainy days, especially in the month of April. I love the warmer temps but a rainy day here, and there is the perfect dose. There’s nothing like curling up on my windowsill reading a book and listening to my rainy […]

Inspiration No. 3

Inspiration No. 3

Here is a roundup of pictures that I came across on Pinterest that have been giving me some much needed inspiration lately.

Socks in bed

Everything about this picture appeals to me, the bedding, the socks, and the blankets.  I would love to wakeup in this setting everyday.

Hair envy

This picture caused me to have major hair envy this week.

Wanderlust Envy

I would give anything to wakeup to this view.  One of my 2015 resolutions is to start camping and being in the outdoors more.  I’ve been lacking on that interest of mine lately.

Outfit Envy

This weekend I will be turning to this outfit for inspiration.  Everything about it screams what I’ve been gravitating towards lately, jeans, leather booties, and a well structured hat.

New York

With trying to get back into and work on my photography skills I would love to be able to capture a picture similar to this one.  Only problem getting in my way is the ability to wake up early to venture on over to the Brooklyn Bridge before the tourists begin to swarm it.

Outfit Envy 2

Personally one of my favorite bloggers is Julia from Gal Meets Glam.  This recent post of hers has been giving me major outfit envy.

Lab Love

After seeing this picture I will strive to take a picture exactly like this of Ajax that I can frame.

What is inspiring you this week?

So today I am giving in and telling you the big news.  I have moved to a new apartment and a new borough of New York!  I am officially a Brooklynite.  This move was very sudden but resulted in consuming a good majority of my time these past few weeks.  As promised there will be a full detailed post on the big move to Brooklyn at a later date.

My first fall in New York has been absolutely wonderful filled with apple picking, fall foliage, and pumpkin patches.  It has definitely been one for the books.  Every weekend with the crisp weather I’ve noticed this is the outfit I always reach for.  The outfit is ideal for a day exploring my new neighborhood, grabbing brunch with friends, or going on a long walk with Ajax.  It’s an outfit that I do not see slipping to the back of my closet anytime soon.

What has been your go-to weekend outfit this fall?
