Badass Brooklyn
For as long as I can remember I have been an advocate for animals, especially man’s best friend. I grew up in a household that had at least two dogs if not more and they were more than pets, they were family. For the better […]

It’s no surprise that I love dogs. I grew up in a very pro-dog household where at one point we had a total of three dogs along with the rest of my family. The majority of the time, we had big dogs, but we always […]
Merry Christmas everyone! I wish you all a day filled with love, family, and joy. We are having a very white Christmas here in Aspen. The snow is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Unfortunately Ajax couldn’t be here with me for Christmas which makes me a little sad. I know he is having fun back in Brooklyn with his cousin though. He’s definitely here in spirit and he and I will celebrate Christmas when I get back to Brooklyn.
We both wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and thank you all for your love and support for High Alpine.

Ever since Ajax came into my life it has drastically been brighter. He is the biggest goofball ever and always seems to make me laugh. With him being such a huge part of my life I’m going to make a concerted effort to feature him […]
1. Dance
Obviously this song has been out for awhile now but it always takes me about a month to get into a Taylor Swift song. After I had a friend forward this video to me, I immediately found myself humming the song for the rest of the day. Needless to say this song now has been on repeat ever since.
2. A Good Cry
With being a dog owner who loves her dog more than anything, this just really got to me. Even though I live in New York and I don’t drive you still have to be careful about alcohol consumption, and how you are going to get home. Anything can happen in this big city if you aren’t careful and aware of your surroundings. I always try my best to be cautious when I’m out socializing and drinking, but after seeing this ad I’m going to be extra careful. I would never want to leave my bundle of joy forever.
3. Remember
My favorite tv show of all time is Friends. I have seen every episode a hundred times and am constantly quoting it. No matter how many times I’ve seen each episode I still laugh as hard as I did the fist time. There is a pop-up Central Perk in Soho that just opened up last week. It’s only open for a month but I am already planning on going at least once to witness Central Perk for myself.
4. Laugh
One of my friends posted a link to this on Facebook and it is one of those links that I am so glad I clicked on. Personally I’ve never been a fan of pageants and find them archaic. I believe the hilarious John Oliver says it much better on, why on earth does Miss America still exist.
