The weather is slowly shifting to fall, and my excitement level is skyrocketing. With September, almost upon us, I am mentally preparing my wardrobe for cooler temps. I look forward to autumn every year when the first signs of fall fashion are placed in stores. […]

Winter is officially here which means my favorite season is over.  It is always bittersweet when fall ends because it means no more fall foliage and perfect sunny days but the start of my second favorite season begins.  I always joke with my friends and family that if there was a place on this earth where it was fall all year round I would move there in a heartbeat.  There’s something about that season that just makes my heart light up.  I always have a permanent smile on my face the minute I see that first yellow/red leaf.  It is so beautiful and breathtaking in my eyes.

Here is a roundup of all my favorite fall outfits, enjoy and reminisce with me for more fall foliage kind of days.

The nostalgia I mentioned in Monday’s post still hasn’t fluttered away yet so I decided to walk further down memory lane today.  In my I Amsterdam post I mentioned that I visited three different cities during my fall break when I studied abroad in college.  The second city was London, […]

Happy Monday everyone!

Over this past week I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic.  The leaves are slowly changing and the smell of pumpkin has been filling the air.  This time of year always makes me so happy but at the same time I long to travel the world.  With fall my being my favorite season and time of year, I particularly enjoy seeing the season in different parts of the world.  Three years ago I had the amazing experience of studying abroad in Florence, Italy.  During my fall break I traveled to three European cities, one of them being Amsterdam.

I consider myself to be a well traveled human being.  I’ve had the lovely pleasure of experiencing some of the most beautiful cities in the world but only a few have made a special place in my heart.  Amsterdam was always on my travel list but after my visit it instantly became one of those cities that I absolutely fell in love with.  The streets were exquisite with all the canals being surrounded by the beautiful fall foliage.  I adored walking around seeing what this beautiful place had to offer from the museums, to the coffee shops, the people, and the nightlife.  I couldn’t believe how sweet the locals were and how safe I felt in the city during all hours.

Lately I’ve been catching myself looking at my Amsterdam photos.  I’ve had this sudden urge to just runaway to Amsterdam for a week.  There are always those cities that you would most definitely travel to again.  Except, Amsterdam is one of those cities that I’m longing to live in one day.  I’m a person who longs to experience other cultures of the world but not just through traveling but becoming a part of their way of life.  I will always love this wonderful country and where I grew up, but I love opening my mind to the world.  So let’s just take a moment and admire how beautiful this world is and all the stunning places it has to offer.

JCP Day 3: Fall Essentials

JCP Day 3: Fall Essentials

Day three of the JCPenney three-day special!  For the last day I decided to feature six items that I feel are essential for fall.  All these items are great must-haves to wear this season and pair with so many other items.  Silk blouses are always a must no matter what season it is but I found that these four are perfect for fall.  A blue blazer is something that every girl should have in her closet.  Lastly every girl needs an adorable dress.  Even though the weather is getting colder that doesn’t mean you have to put all your dresses away.  Just pull out your tights and boots and you are all set for the colder days.  Fall 2013 JCP Essentials

2. Liz Claiborne Long-Sleeve Tie Neck Blouse (Only $27.99)

I’d rather be studying Vogue than books. If I haven’t mentioned it enough I love this time of year.  All the kids are heading back to school, the leaves are changing colors, and the weather is slowly getting cooler.  When I was a little one […]
